Smoking Cessation Program
SAFHT’s Smoking Cessation Program called STOP is run through CAMH.
Nicotine replacement therapy is provided for 26 weeks with behaviour counselling support provided by SAFHT trained RN's to assist clients to quit smoking. Referrals are also made to a mental health clinician and registered dietitian as needed.
This is a program where in certain circumstances you can self-refer and in other circumstances a family doctor will need to refer you to the program. Please see the referrals forms page.
